After two and a half years as “Secretary of Finance“ – a period packed with occurrences and success equally –, Heinz-Uwe Vogel (right) is leaving the Berghof Group for family reasons at the end of May 2021, handing over the key function of Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to his successor Marco Himmelsbach.

Marco Himmelsbach, born in 1976, completed a dual study program and got a degree in business administration. He then started his career as a management assistant at his training company.

This was followed by almost five years as a controller responsible for production, marketing and research at a leading global medical technology company.

For the last almost 15 years, Marco Himmelsbach as Head of Controlling was in charge of the complete controlling of a medium-sized group of companies made up of nine firms and seven production sites around the world.

As of June 1, 2021, Marco Himmelsbach will be the new Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of the Berghof Group and succeed Heinz-Uwe Vogel, who is leaving Berghof at his own request for private reasons.

”It's far from easy for me to say goodbye. But I know that my successor Marco Himmelsbach will be taking over a well-tilled field and a first-class team. These are prerequisites Marco Himmelsbach can and will build on very well and contribute to the further positive development at Berghof‟, Heinz-Uwe Vogel is convinced.
