Meet Anne Blumkoswki
HR Specialist at Berghof GmbH
How Anne supports the Berghof Group with empathy, openness, and clear communication.
Anne has a natural instinct for people. And that’s exactly what makes her so valuable in HR. Since 2022, she has been supporting the Berghof Group in a central HR role and has gained a deep understanding of its diverse teams and business areas. In her work, she combines professionalism with a human touch, building trust along the way. She draws energy from staying active, and when it comes to collaboration, what matters most to her is open communication, mutual respect, and being there for others.

What does Moving Forward mean to you?
To me, Moving Forward means staying in motion. Personally, as a team, and as a company. It’s about not standing still, but continuing to grow, taking on challenges, and being open to new paths.
Looking back over the past few years, I’m really impressed by what we’ve accomplished. Both as an HR team and as the entire Berghof Group. Our external presence, our careers page, and our overall level of professionalism have all evolved significantly. We can genuinely say that, as a mid-sized company, we operate at a level that can compete with much larger organizations.
For me, Moving Forward means staying committed together, growing as a team, and successfully navigating even challenging times.
Where do you get your energy from?
From staying active. I make time for myself about four times a week, mostly through yoga, Pilates, and running.I especially appreciate Hansefit, a nationwide corporate fitness network that gives Berghof employees access to a wide range of gyms, classes, and wellness options across Germany. It makes it easy for me to stay active while also helping me unwind. My personal starting point was the first Moving Forward Challenge three years ago. It’s an internal initiative across the Berghof Group where movement, mental strength, and team spirit all count. Using the Teamfit app, you earn points for your team. Whether through running, strength training, or even mindfulness exercises.
How have you grown personally during your time at Berghof?
Over the years, I’ve gained a lot of experience, both professionally and personally. In HR, I work with people across all levels and with very different needs. That requires empathy, professionalism, and a good sense of judgment. And that’s exactly what I enjoy.
At the same time, I’ve learned to make decisions with clarity while staying human and approachable. This balance of empathy, responsibility, and clarity has helped me grow and reinforced that HR is exactly where I belong.
What matters most to you when working within the HR team?
Communication. Open, honest, and straightforward. We start each day with a quick daily check-in, where we align on priorities, discuss upcoming topics, and support each other where needed. This level of transparency really strengthens how we work together. Just as important is reliability within the team. When someone needs support, we step in. Quickly and without hesitation. Always on equal footing. That kind of collaboration builds trust and makes us stronger as a team.
If you could coach children, what values would you want to pass on?
Humanity. Empathy. Love.
Challenges are part of life. But they help us grow stronger. What matters is being able to accept setbacks and learn from them. And most importantly: treat others with kindness. And don’t forget to treat yourself the same way.
