The founding family
The Berghof group of companies is and stays family possessed: It is founded in 1966 by Prof. Georg Zundel. Nowadays the three sons of the company founder – Johannes, Georg and Ulrich Maxim Zundel – are working together with the executive management to bring Berghof into a successful future.
The executive management
Oliver Walter, Managing Director of the subsidiaries Berghof Fluoroplastic Technology GmbH, Berghof Umweltengineering GmbH, and Gigahertz-Optik GmbH, and Eric Wildeboer, Managing Director of the subsidiaries Berghof Automation GmbH, Berghof Membrane Technology GmbH, Berghof Products + Instruments GmbH, and Berghof Process Control & Logistics GmbH, jointly head the Shared Service Center of the Berghof Group as equal Managing Directors. Cross-company decisions are made collectively by the committee of all Managing Directors, which also includes Dr. Dieter Gutwerk (Managing Director of Berghof Products + Instruments GmbH), Andreas Sonntag, Christian Eichelmann (Managing Director of Berghof Umweltengineering GmbH), Dr. Ralf Zuber (Managing Director of Gigahertz-Optik GmbH), and Tobias Steube (Managing Director of Berghof Membrane Technology GmbH).
