The Berghof Group has been rooted in the region for many decades, with its main location in Eningen unter Achalm. That’s why it was especially important to us again this year to support local organizations doing meaningful work for people right in our own community.
A total of €3,000 will go to three projects in Eningen that, each in their own way, help strengthen community, create opportunities, and support people in challenging life situations. Each organization will receive €1,000.
Hospiz Veronika – Dignity, compassion, and care for people with severe illnesses
Hospiz Veronika in Eningen offers people with serious illnesses loving, professional support during the final stage of life. The focus is on ensuring the best possible quality of life—without life-prolonging or -shortening measures.
Our donation helps the team provide a protected space for guests and their families, shaped by respect, medical expertise, and genuine human warmth.

Ortsjugendring Eningen – Community, holiday programs, and safe spaces
For over 40 years, the Ortsjugendring has been dedicated to children and young people, organizing Eningen’s well-known summer holiday program. Over six weeks, it offers creative activities, action, and shared experiences for young people and their families.
Our donation supports the renewal of a weatherproof roof that will provide safe spaces for play and learning—an important contribution to reliable, inspiring youth work right here in the community.

Waldkindergarten Eningen – Learning in and with nature
The Waldkindergarten Eningen gives children a daily experience of nature: discovering animal tracks, building tipis, engaging in creative free play, and experiencing the seasons up close.
In extreme weather, a heated forest hut or a mobile shelter provides protection. As an inclusive kindergarten, it cares for up to 28 children in two groups.
Our donation goes toward new equipment that will offer children even more opportunities to explore, learn, and try things out—right in the heart of the Eningen meadows.
