Expertise confirmed - and expanded

August 9, 2022

A good calibration is the prerequisite to ensure the measurement is absolute and traceable to internationally defined reference values. For this reason, our subsidiary Gigahertz-Optik has been offering its own calibration laboratory as a special service for its customers for almost 30 years.

The German Accreditation Body (Deutsche Akkreditierungsstelle – DAkkS) regularly inspects this laboratory – most recently
in June 2022. On this occasion, the DAkkS not only re-accredited the laboratory (ISO 17025), but even extended the accreditation.

This means that Gigahertz-Optik can now also offer traceable calibrations for the new parameters current calibrations (DC
amperage) of display devices / optometers, spectral irradiance (W/nm) of deuterium lamps (UV in the 200 nm to 400 nm range), and integral irradiance sensitivity of detectors (W/m²) by means of reference detector and / or spectroradiometer (BTS2048 series).
