A well-rounded event: Berghof make children’s hearts beat a little faster

February 7, 2019

Right at the start of the second half of the season at Germany's first federal soccer league it says more than ever before "the round goes into the square" at the Evangelic Primary School in the Thuringian city Muehlhausen. The reason for this is that our subsidiary Firma Berghof Process Management, which is also located in Muehlhausen, has given 20 soccer balls to the soccer team of the school.

So to speak a late gift for the 20th anniversary of the Evangelic Primary School a few months ago, the company supports in this way an essential cornerstone of the school's supplementary services.

"Soccer is of course highly popular at our children. So the soccer team is one of the 'top runners' of our supplementary services. Therefore this material donation gave us a great joy", Christine Lange, head of the team, expresses her appreciation. Lastly, the school is able to expand this popular offer by this. And it helps to conserve the limited financial resources.

Berghof Process Management have arisen shortly after the reunification from a joint-venture between the successor company of the VEB Mikroelektronik Muehlhausen and the Berghof group of companies, which is located in the Stuttgart area. The company operates worldwide from its recently build headquarter in Muehlhausen. The contact between Berghof and the school came about rather by chance. "In the field of test stand technology for car batteries, we are working for years very closely and successfully with the company Deutsche Accumotive, which is located in the Saxon town of Kamenz. Our contacts there told us about the popular successful soccer team and its weak material ressources. So we decided on the spur of the moment to donate 20 soccer balls, so that the success story of the soccer team can proceed", reports Annett Lange (see picture quite left), who is in charge of the Berghof location in Muehlhausen.
