The founding family
The Berghof group of companies is and stays family possessed: It is founded in 1966 by Prof. Georg Zundel. Nowadays the three sons of the company founder – Johannes, Georg and Ulrich Maxim Zundel – are working together with the executive management to bring Berghof into a successful future.
The executive management
Marco Himmelsbach, CFO of the Group, Oliver Walter, managing director of the subsidiary Berghof Fluoroplastic Technology GmbH and Eric Wildeboer, managing director of the subsidiary Berghof Membrane Technology GmbH direct the skills of the Shared Service Center of Berghof Group as joint managing directors. Comprehensive decisions are taken by the management board, which includes also Dr. Dieter Gutwerk (CEO Berghof Products + Instruments GmbH), Dr. Bernhard Flaig (CEO Berghof Automation GmbH) and Frank Reißmann (CEO Gigahertz-Optik GmbH).
Structure
For its size, the Berghof Group is remarkably diversified, grouping six different subsidiaries. Each subsidiary works together with its customers to develop and provide innovative products and services.
