Simple digestion for simple sample materials

Samples which are easy to digest, such as for example, environmental samples (waste, soil, sludge, waste water…) can be processed in compliance with EPA standards 200.2, 200.7, 200.8, or EN 13346 and/or EN ISO 15587-1. The same vessel is used during work from weighing in through to spectroscopic analysis. At no time is it necessary to transfer the sample solution; therefore contamination is prevented effectively. The extent of manual work is reduced significantly. This makes it possible to deal simply and cost-efficiently with even large amounts of samples. |
High sample throughput at low cost
Hot Block™ systems from Environmental Express are available with different sample capacities to deal with your sample volumes. Depending on the volume required, up to 96 (15-ml) samples, 54 (50-ml) samples or 35 (100-ml) samples can be digested at once in between 30 min and 2.5 h.
A long service life thanks to non-corrosive design
All the materials used to build the HotBlock™ systems are resistant to acids and therefore also to corrosion. The HotBlock™ itself is made from Teflon®-coated graphite in a Kydex® housing. Electrical and electronic components are arranged in separate encapsulated modules in order to avoid contact with corrosive media.
