The I8LE membranes are suitable for the filtration of liquids with a medium to high concentration of non-dissolved material (15 g/l). These membranes have been designed for backwash operation.
The tubular membrane used the most in MBR technology is the I8LE membrane. The advantages of backwash make possible to limit membrane fouling at an optimum power consumption. This membrane is extremely suitable for the filtration of MBR biomass sludges.

The internal diameter of the tubular membranes is 8 mm. The maximum pressure of the HyperFlux-I8 module is 800 kPa. In use at the tubular module type HyperFlux with potted tubular membranes.
