Drinking water is defined as water for human use and is the most important food of all.

Depending on the geographical position and geological options, drinking water is gained from ground-water (walled-in spring, bank filtrates), surface waters or rainwater. The requirements imposed on drinking water are exceptionally high and are set out in the drinking water ordinance.

  • Physical physico-chemical and chemical parameters
  • Microbiological parameters
  • Sampling by qualified samplers to meet the requirements of the drinking water ordinance (TrinkwV)
  • Drinking water monitoring of public institutions in accordance with section 18 (1) drinking water ordinance (TrinkwV) (such as swimming baths and old people's homes), including sampling and assessment.
  • Independent monitoring of drinking water treatment plants regarding the dosing and effectiveness of anti corrosion protection.
