Old and used wood

Depending on its origin or original type of use waste wood is categorised under A I to A IV of the waste wood ordinance. This classification takes place according to a so-called "legal presumption". Reasons must be given for deviations and they must be documented.

If it is intended for reutilisation as a material or for generating energy, the owner must record and collect the waste wood separately in the place where it arises. If waste wood is a mixture of different categories of waste wood, the requirements for recycling it as a material and for energy-generating purposes conform to the respective highest category of waste wood.

As part of self-monitoring for quality control in your company we support you in adhering to the defined reference and limit values. By regularly participating in interlaboratory tests the reliability of our analysis results and therefore also of your plants is guaranteed.
